Evaluation
1. Each academic year is divided into three trimesters and teaching programmes are organized around the credit system.
2. Teaching includes lectures, tutorials, projects, seminars, dissertations and field & industrial training etc.
3. The Institute lays special emphasis on the tutorial system, which is based on a close personal interaction between students and teachers.
4. A distinct feature of the education system is the emphasis on overall personality development and instilling in students the qualities of leadership. Thus, extra curricular activities are an important part of student life.
5. Each term ends with final trimester- end examination. Each such examination is of 3 hours duration.
6. The internal assessment in each course carries 30 marks and is based on components like term papers/assignments, class tests, quizzes, case studies, attendance etc. as decided and announced by the Academic C0-ordinator in consultation with the respective teachers within the first two weeks of the trimester.
7. Grading system:

8. The minimum passing grade in each individual course along with internal assessments is 40% or C+.
9. A comprehensive Viva?Voce examination is to be held at the end of 6TH trimester and the passing grade to be eligible for the diploma is B minus. Besides, he must score a CGPA of B minus at the end of 6th trimester and must have a passing grade in SIP.
10. A student who fails to secure minimum pass marks i.e. 40% in a subject would be allowed to a take re-examination. However numerical score obtained will be as per the following scheme:

11. The candidates would be promoted to higher trimester (till 5th trimester) only if they do not have more than three F and CGPA of C+.
12. To be eligible for the award of PGDBM a student must score:
a) CGPA of B minus at the end of 6th trimester
b) Passing grade in SIP is B minus
c) A minimum of B Minus in Viva – Voce & must not have more than three F.
13. Division will be awarded on the basis of combined result of 6 trimesters on the following basis.
- Candidates securing A and above ? I Division with distinction
- Candidates securing between B plus and A minus ? I Division
- Candidates securing between C plus and B ? II Division
14. No person shall be admitted as a candidate for the examination for any of the part after the lapse of Four Year in case of Full Time PGDBM Programme.
15. a) If the student fails to clear any of the examination, he/ she will be required to pay a Re- Examination fee of Rs 500/- per course Any candidate who has been declared "Failed" will be eligible to reregister and repeat the Trimester programme in the following year.
b) ATTENDENCE SHORTAGE: Rs 500/- will be charged for less than 75% till 60%. A student having attendance of less than 60% in a course will be deemed to have failed in the course.
Note: In case of any ambiguity, the decision given by the Director would be final.
