Grade Point Average (GPA) to be calculated in the basis of following formula:
           ∑(GP X CV)
GPA = --------------------
               ∑CV
GP = Grade Points
CV = Credit Value of 3 for each subject except SIP. SIP will be equivalent to 3 subjects of credit value 9 and will be treated as Summer Trimester.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to be calculated in the basis of following formula:
              ∑(GP X CV) of Term 1 + ∑(GP X CV) of Term 2 + ……
CGPA = -------------------------------------------------------------------------
               ∑CV of Term 1 + ∑CV of Term 2 + ……
GP = Grade Points
CV = Credit Value
b) Students obtaining less than 40% in respective subject may appear for ‘Grade Improvement Test’ (GIT), if they wish to and ‘GIT’ will be held like the supplementary examination.
